The Best Password Manager – Lastpass

One of the most common questions I get is how do I manage the dozens of passwords I have ((I have 186 passwords). Consumers know that their dog’s name, the children’s name, or a dictionary word is easily guessed. Strong passwords are needed but who will remember Ym%dKq7B as their password? Lastpass is the answer. You have one STRONG master password and Lastpass creates strong passwords for your accounts, remembers them and automatically logs you in to the website. It works. Its secure. Its free.

If you are a security paranoid, there are free and paid options for a second factor so that two things are needed to log you in to Lastpass. I use an inexpensive plastic key called a Yubikey which creates a crazy long number as my secondary authentication.
